Back in FL

So, just wanted to share that our new nephew, Ethan is doing pretty darn good. He is super cute and off the ventalator. Our time in Michigan was really great. Good time spent with family. We are back in Florida and I am looking forward to a bit of a schedule again. I need structure apparently. Hope you all are having a great summer too. Thanks for your prayers for Ethan.

The newest member of our extended family

This is Ethan Denton Reed, born at 26 weeks and under 2 pounds. He is the son of my sister, Kristen. Ethan has been doing well over the past week and is continuing to make progress. Mia and I are heading up to visit tomorrow. Lizzie saw him yesterday and thinks that he is perfect. We love him already and are praying that he continues to grow and develop into a healthy, strong little boy! Thank you to those of you have been praying along with us.

Breakfast at Angel House

It has been a while, but to make up for it, here is a really cute video of the kids at breakfast on my last trip. Lizzie says that I really need to point out how sweet Jonas is helping Daniel on one of his first mornings at Angel House find his bowl of corn flakes.

So, yesterday evening Mia ran through my bedroom to get her bathing suit. She looked at me and asked, "Are you praying?" I said, "Yep, want to pray with me?" "Well, I was going in the pool." I told her, "Will only take a minute." She willingly agreed. Of course she wants to go first.:) She proceeds to pray that God will show her how to "use the tools" she needs to save people when she is a doctor and then goes on to pray for these people already: That He will heal her patients bodies, make them strong and give them good hearts for Him. There is A LOT going on in that 38 pound body!

So, it has been a fun trip. Good family time and new experiences. Getting a picture of all three of our children is quite a trick. However, when strapped in the car, it is a bit easier.:) Here we are entering the new tunnel to go from one side of Holland to the other side. The plan was that they were going to hold their breath, but then they realized that the tunnel is over 4.5 miles long!

So, it has been quite an adventure here in London with our three precious kiddos. We have been to Buckingham Palace to see the changing of the guards, to a musical (which they all really loved actually), bus tour etc., but they are really most impressed with the hot chocolate machine downstairs.... :)

Harrison and his new friends

We are in the Netherlands visiting Frits's family. Harrison asked one of Frits's friends from childhood to take him to milk cows. Harry has a dream of having a cow one day so that he can get his own milk.... (He was singing Hallelujah!:))

So.....

I have gotten so much enjoyment getting to know our adoptive families, keeping up with friends and learning more about my own child, that I think that I should give this a try. Also, I am bad about sending out family pictures of my three kiddos so maybe this will help make up for that too!
